Why wont Scott Hahn and other leading Catholic Apologist respond when you email them question?

Could it be the fact when you present a Biblical, Cogent, and accurate arguement there is no spin that can put on it to justify what has already been proven to be inaccurate which is why most them refuse to respond when presented with the Gospel Of The Truth!!

  1. Uhh…if we don’t know what the question was, we can’t help you.

  2. Ummm…sure.

  3. Perhaps the same reason Hugh Laurie won’t respond to my many e-mails- too busy to be bothered.

  4. Try some even more radical converts from anti-Catholicism, Dave Armstrong for instance. He’ll rip your stupid ignorant head off. Be sure to send me pictures. :)

  5. It could be, but more likely they have concluded that they are correct and that their time is too precious to waste in getting into extended e-mail debates with all of the people who don’t hold their opinion regarding theology and the teachings in the Bible.

If you can’t set up a public debate and come with credentials, then most people like that have a lot of other things on their agendas and they are not going to answer every argumentative e-mail that comes their way.

  6. While I am not Catholic, and certainly do not mean to defend them in their errors….it may be the man is too busy to answer all of his e-mails.

  7. Maybe he’s too busy.
Maybe he doesn’t know how to answer your questions.
    Maybe he is stumped.
Maybe he doesn’t check his email.
    Maybe he’s on vacation.

    Just throwing out random suggestions.

  8. its the same bible, they just have different ceremonies and ways of doing things, they’re not like david coresh (who was protestant). do you agree with the quakers, salvation army, seventh day adventists, jw, christian scientists, baptists, mormons, methodists, presbytarians, greek orthodox, russian orthodox and the many others. (obviously you are probably one of the sects i’ve mentioned) but give the catholics a break, you are just being judgemental!! attack us atheists we will wipe you under the table

  9. They probably get 1000s of emails like yours and don’t feel like answering. If they didn’t have the truth, then why are they more popular than you? Perhaps you should look into what they believe. Mr. Hahn, a former minister, is a convert from the Presbyterian Church, he has found the real Truth within the Catholic Church. Maybe one day you will too!

  10. 2 other possibilities (at least) at present also.
    1. He has his own reason fornot taking emails.
    2. One can give one side of the scriptural argument, but willingly ignore the other (mental slavery to Satan?). God may give more than one way is scripture. (Hint; the scripture and Bible are not the same currently; especially in USA).

  11. It sounds to me like you are one of “those” people who ask questions not because he is interested in an answer, but as a kind of spring trap. Even if the question was thoughtfully, honestly answered using reliable sources, you’d simply ignore the answer and move on to some other point or question.

I’ve dealt with it so many times, myself, that I’ve stopped answering questions when it is obvious that the person doesn’t want an answer, either.

In any event, the fact that someone doesn’t think you (or your questions) are worth answering doesn’t mean that there is isn’t an answer. It may simply mean that the person has deduced that you couldn’t care less what the answer is, and you are merely being antagonistic.

  12. Do you seriously think the likes of Scott Hahn has the time to respond to every email he gets?

Also, your ilk isn’t going to be convinced no matter how solid an answer you get, or who it comes from – so why is the likes of Scott Hahn going to waste his time on people like that?

Just because you present a Biblical argument doesn’t mean it’s “cogent” or “accurate”. Anyone could use the Bible to justify anything. All you have to do is take the right verse out of context and, presto, you can appear to justify any belief no matter how unorthodox.

The problem is, to do that requires personal Biblical Interpretation – something you don’t have the God-given Authority to do.
Only the Church has the Authority to Interpret the Bible.

If your Biblical interpretation does not match that of the Church’s, then spin is exactly what you’ve put on the Bible in order to get it to justify what you want.

This is exactly why the Church is the only entity that has the Authority to Interpret the Bible – so people can’t come up with Biblical “justification” for just anything and then pass it off as Dogma.

Like I said before, there are plenty of open-minded people out there for apologists to talk to. They, especially the high-profile ones, have no time for the likes of you.

  13. Probably because you are not interested in anything but an argument.

  14. Oh my! It was only a week ago here on Yahoo that you made the claim that no Catholic Priest would dare debate you regarding the Book of Acts, and Father Joseph stepped forward and said AnyTime AnyWhere.

Are we to assume that you have already reduced the good Father to tears and you are now in search of bigger game like Doctor Hahn?

Or are we to assume you are all talk?

There are sincere, well-meaning, God-seeking Protestants out there. And you are humiliating them.
