Why is a new yahoo email account sending emails directly to the recipient’s spam folder?
Is there a reason why emails from a new yahoo account go directly into the recipient’s spam folder and not into their inbox? It must be something in the way I edited the account preferences or account information but I can’t figure what I did to cause this. I would really appreciate your help ASAP as I need to send out invitations for an event within the hour (12pm July 14 2010). Thank You Very Much!



It’s not a problem with your account—instead it’s with your recipients accounts.
You said it’s a “new” account——so my guess would be that your recipients don’t have your “new” address entered into their Contact List (address book) yet—–AND until they do that, it’s “likely” their accounts will send anything coming from you to their Spam folder.
