what’s the best laptop for the best price for mainly checking email and working online?
I have a small moving company and travel alot . I want to get a laptop so I can check my email( thats how I get leads) and go to a web site where I accept jobs. Also how does that work when I’m away from home? Do I just get a motel with internet and plug a phone line in to laptop and log onto my yahoo or what? Please don’t laugh. All this is new to us we just want to take advantage of technology and not miss any work.Also are there any portable printers you can use w/ a laptop to print contracts and such ?
used apple 12inch ibook. go to the apple store online and click on the big red tag that says save. for printers get the cheapest printer from best buy or apple.com. and just get a hotel with internet and use it that way.
You can get a Dell for cheap…$500 for a new one
You can find a model with built in wifi for travelling and with a built in modem for phone line too.
There are portable printers for laptops. HP makes them that I’ve seen.
If you want a laptop get a dell.
You don’t need to spend much to browse the web and check e-mail. A refurbished laptop for $300 or less will do the job. Browsing the web only requires Win 98 and 64MB RAM, but I recommend at least 128MB RAM. E-mail requires almost nothing in the way of computing power. Type “used laptops” or “refurbished laptops” into Google and check out the top two or three companies that you find.
