I Belong to several garden clubs and discount cupons and free samples are the way to go. Most of the clubs I belong to already provide education in the way of guest speakers, informative articles in our newsletters, shows and events. If you can find out who is in charge of putting the newsletter together, that would be your contact person for the entire membership. Plus, if you could make arrangements with them to print your cupons in the newsletter, you reach the entire membership. Some clubs would charge an advertising fee, but most welcome cupons (and the use of the space for them) because we don't always have enough articles or education or brags or Q & A to completely fill space. Also, if you tied into a show (like our annual fund raising plant sale, the orchid or rose show, etc.) with free samples and cupons, you would reach more than just our membership, but people who attend these events because they are interested in gardening in general.
