How do you stop Yahoo Answers from sending email for best answer?

I want to stop Yahoo Answers from sending that automatic email when someone picks me as best answer. I don’t remember this even being an option on the profile setup page. I already chose not to allow people to email me, and that works – so this is different.
It gets really annoying b/c it sometimes fills up my mail inbox and they seem to send duplicate emails all the time.
Thanks

  1. My profile > options uncheck the box with send me email notifactions

  2. There is no way to stop it. You can go to options > mail options > filters and create one that will delete email with a specific subject.

  3. Double click your avatar. In the next window click edit my info, scroll down make your changes check your selections, preview then click save

  4. My profile > options uncheck the box with send me email notifactions

  5. I haven’t tried this myself so I’m not sure if this’ll work. Try creating a mail filter in your yahoo mail account by going: Options > Mail Options > Filters > Create or edit filters > Add > Type in a name > Put “Yahoo!7 Answers: Your answer has been chosen as the best answer” for the Subject field > Then select an action (maybe just move to trash) > Save Changes. =)

EDIT: Or perhaps just label those emails as Spam – but then you’ll have to check the spam folder regularly to make sure you don’t miss out on some important notifications from Yahoo.
