select the suspected mails, and on top (inside your inbox) there should be a button like SPAM or Mark as junk.. click on it.
Next time you get such mail it should go directly into your spam folder.
You may need to do it some times, as these emails can come from different senders. But once marked as junk/spam your mail will automatically do the job next time it encounters it.
It depends. If they are spoofing the address, they are not actually using your email to send out the emails-they are just using your address to mask the true email address being used.
You can verify if they are using your email address by checking your “Sent” folder. If you do not see them there, check your “Trash” folder. If the emails appear in either folder, they are using your email account.
If the emails are being sent to your contacts, they are using your email account. Verify this by looking at the returned email addresses or by asking people on your contact list. If this is true, they are using your email account.
In any event, change your password. Notify your account provider (I’m guessing it is Yahoo!-if so, use this link-

Sounds like your E-mail account has been compromised, or you picked up a virus, Paul.
Immediately have your computer checked for a ‘bug’ or ‘bugs.’ If you have the proper programs, do the scans yourself, if not you need to take your computer to some one who can.
Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet.
I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also.
After you finish this, then go in and change your password, using a good strong one.
Also, check your account information and make sure no information was changed, if it was change it back immediately.
Then, you will have to inform your contacts that it was not you sending that mail, but they need to check their computers in case they were also infected.
