I would like to know what became of the option to block certain email addresses from sending email to my account. Yahoo! used to have a very straightforward way of doing this…yet now I cannot locate the necessary function.
Please assist & advise.

When the mail comes in click on it to
then click on Spam and it will go into
the spam folder

Oh if the person is in your contacts list
remove from there as well
When you receive email from an account that you don’t want to receive, mark it as Spam (it is a choice on your mail toolbar next to Delete, Reply, etc.
So, it doesn’t block it entirely. It just relegates it to your spam folder.
Click on Options then mail options and
then spam
then type the email addresses in the spam box provided and click on ok
