Do you have the feeling that Obama politics will be extraordinarily messy, muddy and foggy ? Why ?
I have this feeling because of the level of manipulation that has lead to Obama’s election, because of his outstanding political skills in the sense that he will do anything to survive politically but not necessarily doing what’s best for the country and for the people. He will be heavily influenced by groups of interest while denying it (as it was the case until now). He will continue to play with the media and using uncommon communication skills (his campaign manager Plouffe is emailing Obama’s supporters asking them for advice on how to maintain Obama’s image…The people will only see what the Obama administration will allow them to see and a unprecedent part will remain behind curtains… I could continue but I’ll let you talk.

Yes I do, he does not have much experience in office.
No, I don’t.
Enjoy your sour grapes!
You mean President Obama?
Sounds about right, he is unknown and probably knows nothing,
Yes, isn’t that what a empty suit does, smoke & mirrors.
I do not believe this to be true what you suggest. He is a straight forward man.
I say give the man an honest chance before you judge him. It’s just absurd to think that something like this is going to happen. I don’t get all the people who say the country is going to completely collapse in the next four years because of Obama. In fact, there are people hoping for that, just so they can say they were right about thsi election. That makes no sense at all. I figure Obama can’t possibly do anything worse than what Bush has done.
I answer yes to your question but my reasons are much different than yours…Bush and the Republicans have made a huge mess and what we see is only the tip of the iceberg of what needs to be cleaned up…
It’ll get done but it’ll take time…it’s always a lot easier to make a huge mess than to clean one up!
Again, you should try optimism. It’s better than fear.
If the guy asks “US” for advice on how to maintain his image … how in the word can you see only the negative in it, and not the fact that he is actually asking advice from EVERYONE so he can’t remain good in the eyes of his supporters?
Isn’t it a bold move? Isn’t it smart? Isn’t it futuristic to use the internet as a mean of communication in order to achieve goals? Isn’t it a good thing that he ask the people their opinions?
See, they are so many positive things we could focus on, but you decide to see only the negative ones. Remember, even if he doesn’t have as much experience as others, from nothing, he became the new president of the most powerful country in the world … and he is black! Give him some credit and at least see him as an intelligent man
Uh huh. Just look at the way his minions handled Joe the Plumber and any unfriendly press. President Obama will not tolerate dissent or attack.
Uh, no.
Many people have gotten used to Bush, with his all-or-nothing style — which is completely divorced from reality.
Reality is complex. Having a president capable of dealing with cmplexity will be a GOOD thing.
You don’t know that he will “do anything to survive politically” — for instance, unlike Bush, I doubt Obama will murder over a million people just ’cause he FEELS like it. Unlike Bush, HE has MORALS.
Bush’s administration has been by far the most secretive EVER. We don’t yet know whether Obama will be less secretive, but I’m willing to wait and see; he can hardly be MORE secretive.
The WORLD is messy, muddy, and foggy; the economy is all these things; intelligent policy in any area is these things.
Having a braindead moron incapable of understanding anything has NOT been good for our country, or the world in general.
Having someone who doesn’t run around saying that everyone who disagrees with him is a terrorist will, by itself, be a vast improvement.
Listen when a house is built on sand, it will collapse….This myth image that got Obama elected will not survive if he doesn’t come through with his polyanna promises….Just remember one thing, the liberal media built him up to the status of a Messiah…The One…The Second Coming of Christ…so now the ball is in the lap of his image makers…Do they continue to push forward his image of a man who will bring this country around and “fix” all its ills? Or will you see a confused; conflicted; inexperienced leader who will lean on his advisors and cabinet for answers…I don’t know what the future holds, but when a man runs for President; and he doesn’t follow through with his promises; people become disallusioned; especially with our economy the way it is going….People will give him a chance, but if they see he is just like every other politician; they will throw him out in 2012…He is not immune to criticism, but his people will try everything to stop descent; criticism; of his administration…To me, they want to use the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as toilet paper, but Congress even though they are Dem. majority; they will not let our country go Socialist…I guarantee you that…there will be an uprising among Senators & Congressmen if they see our country being manipulated toward Socialism…I feel that…
