How much money did Obama’s Campaign and the DNC really have at the end of June 2008?

What is with this discrepancy between the AFP’s report and David Plouffe’s account of the amount of money the DNC and Obama Campaign had together at the end of June? The AFP reports that the DNC and the Obama Campaign have $92 million combined. Yet Plouffe says they have $72 million in a recent email. [...]

Why has John McCain decided to get in the “political gutter”?

John McCain has repeatedly insisted in public that he wants to run a respectful campaign, but a recent fundraising email from his campaign suggests there will be nothing revolutionary about the Republican nominee’s tactics this year.
McCain’s deputy campaign manager, Christian Ferry, sent an email to donors today with the subject line: “Hamas Weighs In On [...]

what do you think of this email i received?

Here, in September, 2008, we are being told that our economy is in a meltdown, the stock market is reeling, politicians are finger-pointing (what’s new?), and we’re being asked to support a “bailout” program that will eventually burden the American taxpayer with over a TRILLION dollars in additional debt, or face a financial armageddon. There [...]

$52 million vs. $22 million? What does it mean?

There is a sense of elation in the Obama campaign as it was announced that their candidate raised $52 million in June. It’s a massive haul for the presumptive Democratic nominee — $3 million short of the historic mark he hit earlier in the cycle but much larger than the $22 million that John McCain [...]

What if we all started critizing obama’s campaign manager instead of obama?

David Plouffe is the person who obviously got the ball rolling with the very first “racist ” charge in South Carolina. It’s been said that a memo was distributed that suggested looking for “racial overtones” in every statment that was made. Of course obama does get to make the final call on what his mouth [...]

Is Bush smarter than Mc Cain? state facts plz?

i think so, cuz Bush was more articulate in the 2000 presidential campaign than Mc Cain ever was. Mc Cain admitted that he doesn’t understand financial markets: Bush knows how to use a computer and send email today we find that Mc Cain doesnt even know how to turn on a computer. Both their policies [...]

Why is the Obama campaign being so negative and nasty about Gov. Palin?

When Obama announced Biden as his VP pick, Sen. McCain called Biden and congratulated him. BUT when McCain announced her as his VP pick, the Obama campaign dismissed her as the “former may of a town of 9000.”
Obama compared his running his campaign (as if he and not his campaign manager actually runs it) to [...]

What happened to Obama campaigning on the “issues”?

Campaign email: (excerpt)
The McCain campaign is trying to distract voters from the real issues — so we’re going to focus on what they’re trying to hide.
They’ve come out against the life-saving possibilities of stem cell research.
They don’t even mention protecting equal pay for equal work.
They support huge tax cuts for the wealthiest [...]
